A suspected arson attack has left a former Heywood pub in ruins.
Fire crews from Heywood and Bury attended the fire at the former Stone Masons pub on Albert Street at around 3.30am on Sunday morning (17 January).
The blaze started on the first floor and quickly spread towards the roof area.
Eight firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two jet hoses to tackle the blaze.
The fire left extensive damage to the first floor of the old pub and the roof void.
The cause of the fire is thought to be suspicious and special fire scene investigators are to investigate the blaze.
