Key stage 3 has had a visit from the Dentist in school, looked at how the Victorians wash, taken part in boccia, swimming and art animation, along with producing a ‘Stop Start’ video.

Waterloo Road have been filming on school grounds this week – students managed to get a sneaky peak at the film sets!

Students from Key Stage 4 made use of the snowy weather conditions by utilising their new found construction skills to build an excellent igloo.

Students have been going to Rathbone’s in Bury where they have been learning a number of construction based skills such as bricklaying and joinery. These were put to good use when the snow gave them an excellent opportunity to put their skills to the test and build an igloo. Students worked incredibly hard for over three hours to complete the igloo and were extremely proud of their efforts.
