Man dies in house fire

A man has died in a house fire in Heywood.
The body of the 56-year-old man was found by the emergency services at the house on Claybank Street following the blaze on Saturday morning, at around 10.45am.
A cat also died in the blaze.
A joint fire and police investigation is underway to establish the cause of the fire.
