Please pay any outstanding fees as soon as possible in order for children to continue to use these services. Thank you.

Farmhouse Breakfast
It is National Farmhouse Breakfast week beginning Monday 25 January. This will be open to all children at a cost of £1.20 per day and we will be offering a variety of foods, including a cooked breakfast, homemade banana cake, cereals, etc. More details and menus to follow next week.

Fees for this half term are £13.50. Please also pay any outstanding fees as soon as possible. These fees need to be paid in order for children to continue with their lessons. Thank you.

Youth Club
Youth Club will start again on Monday 18 January at 6.30-8.30pm, weather permitting.

Outdoor Play
This week, because of the weather, children have not been able to play out. Hopefully next week, if the weather improves, they will be able to play out again but please make sure children have wellies or boots, warm waterproof coats, hats, scarves and gloves and please ensure all items of clothing have their names in. Thank you.

Clothes Recycling
Please help!
We want your unwanted clothes, curtains, shoes and other textiles...

We are teaming up with European Textile Recycling to help raise funds for the school. To do this we would like your help.

Please gather together any unwanted usable/wearable clothes, shoes, towels, curtains, handbags, belts, bedding (but not pillows or quilts) and textiles.

Please put the items into the yellow bag provided or any other plastic bag if you fill it.

The last collection day to bring your filled bag to school is Tuesday 2 February.

European Textiles will weigh the clothes and the school will be paid for every kilo that is collected. £300 per tonne, one tonne is around 180 bags.

Mobile Phones
Before Christmas we sent out a leaflet regarding recycling mobile phones. Please continue to bring mobile phones into school to be recycled. For every 200 phones collected school receives £300 and you can choose a prize. If you need another leaflet please ask at the office. You can also visit www.fones4school.co.uk for further details regarding prizes available.

The Big Schools’ Birdwatch 2010
Year 1 and Year 4 will be taking part in the Big Schools’ Birdwatch during 18 January to 1 February. In preparation for the event we will be making recycled bird feeders this Thursday and Friday. Please could you send in milk cartons and yoghurt pots this week so we can use them to make the bird feeders.
