A very belated welcome back.

It has been great to see all our young people back in school this week after reluctantly making the decision to close Redwood School between Tuesday and Friday of last week on health and safety grounds. Our attendance this week has been excellent considering that some of our pupil transport routes are still very difficult to access.

Our school website was updated on a daily basis to keep parents informed of developments. A large number of parents / carers will also have received a text message via our parentmail communications system. This was a huge success and we would ask that if you have not provided us with your mobile number, please complete the forms sent home this week and return asap. We would like to have all our parents / carers on our parent mail system.

Finally many thanks for your support and understanding during this recent period of extreme weather. However, should there be a repeat you know how we will keep all our parents and carers updated.
