Welcome back to school and hope you all had a safe and enjoyable break after the unexpected longer holiday due to the adverse weather

There will be a Parent Evening for Year 11 students on Wednesday 13 January between 6pm and 8.30pm

The remaining interviews for Library assistants will now take place on Tuesday 19 January in the afternoon.

We would like to congratulate the following Year 11 students who have been appointed as Prefects:

There are various events that have been organised to help to inform and prepare Year 9 with their important option choices. They are:

Wednesday 20 January - Connexions Assembly

Thursday 21 January All Year 9 to watch 'The Bigger Picture' theatre presentation in the hall

Tuesday 26 January - 'Direction' Option workshops

To be arranged on 8th or 9 February a Diploma taster session - more details and confirmation to follow.

Wednesday 10th February - Year 9 Options Evening

Friday 26 February - Play in a Day

We would like to thank Zen Internet together with representatives of Oldham Sixth Form College, Hopwood Hall College, Rochdale 6th Form College, Army, Police, Fire Service, Mrs Buchanan and other people who recently took part in the mock interviews for the Year 11 students.

The students enjoyed the day and they have definitely taken a lot from the process and hopefully it has prepared them for future interviews. The interviewers who kindly gave up their time were very positive about the pupils, particularly their appearance and quality of answers
