Residents asked to leave refuse bins out if not collected
Date published: 04 January 2010

Green Wheelie Bin
Rochdale Council is asking residents whose refuse bins still have not been emptied from last week to leave them out until they have been collected.
Any refuse collections that have not been made from last week will carry on into this week as collections continue to be disrupted due to more snow that has frozen over the weekend. This does not include recycling collections as these were suspended last week to prioritise refuse collections.
For the rest of this week, residents are asked to refer to their collection calendars to check what bin they should put out as the council attempts to get collections back to normal as quickly as possible. The bin due for collection should be put out from 7am on the correct day.
