A three-year-old girl is in intensive care following a house fire on Boxing Day.
The youngster was rescued following a blaze in the lounge area of a mid-terrace house on Howard Street, Falinge on Saturday 26 December.
When the fire service arrived at the scene the child, along with her mother and father, had already got out of the house. The mother had taken her daughter to Rochdale Infirmary.
The three year old was transferred to the intensive care unit at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, where her condition is described as 'very poorly'.
Fire crews were called to the property at 12.20pm on Boxing Day.
There was serious fire damage to the living room of the property and smoke damage to other areas.
The man and the woman were treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
