New Year's Day baby

The first Rochdale baby of 2010 was born at the Rochdale Infirmary Maternity Unit at fourteen minutes past eight this morning (1 January 2010).
Proud parents, Shabnam and Raja Asjad from Spotland haven’t decided on a name for their little girl yet.
The new arrival to the Asjad family, weighs 61b 10oz, and is the second child, the first, also a girl is 2 years old.
Mrs Asjad, said: "I am glad she has come into the world, I am worn out but it was worth it.
“My daughter prayed for a baby sister and she has got what she wanted, this is a great way to celebrate the New Year.”
