Healey Foundation Primary School

Date published: 15 December 2009

School will break up for Christmas on Friday (19 December) and will re-open on Tuesday 5 January 2010. Half term is 12 February until 22. Dinner money for the first half term is £49.30.

Parents who use the After School Club are reminded that the club is not open on the second Tuesday back, 12 January, due to staff training. Parents are advised to make other arrangements for that evening only.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the school through the concerts and raffles. The raffle has raised enough money to fund the Christmas Parties and there are two unclaimed tickets; Blue 431 to 435 and Green 886 to 890.

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday:

Reception: Liam Ellis
Year 1: Joshua Lazo
Year 2: Tom Hemmings
Year 3: Shauna Atherton
Year 4: Lauren Harden
Year 5: Grace Dearden / Adil Hussain
Year 6: Megan Callaghan

Next term is likely to be disrupted by snow. In the event of heavy snowfall the school will send out a text alert confirming if the school is open as normal. If you are one of the few not signed up to the free text alert system, now would be a good time. It is quite simple: Text START HEALEY to 60300 and the alerts will come through at no cost to you.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
