Crash forces road closure

Manchester Road was closed for more than an hour following a car crash at the junction with New Barn Lane.
Police cordoned off the carriageway in the direction of Tesco at around 7.05 last night (Sunday 13 December) after a silver Vauxhall Astra collided with a Renault Clio.
No-one was injured in the crash and police re-opened the road at around 8.20pm.
