Police engagement day in Milnrow
Date published: 11 December 2009

Rochdale's Mayor, Councillor Keith Swift, with police representatives at the Milnrow engagement day.
Police held an engagement day at Milnrow Working Men's Club earlier this month.
Older and vulnerable residents were invited to the event to discuss issues such as doorstep crime and home security advice.
The council's community safety team discussed their handy person scheme, which provides a repair service to older and vulnerable people.
During the day residents were treated to a carol concert by pupils from Milnrow Parish School and were shown a role play by a local drama group.
A raffle was also held with a number of prizes on offer.
Sergeant Joanne Reid for Pennine Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "The day was a real success and we have had some positive feedback from everyone. A number of people have been asking if we will be holding a similar event next year."
