Christmas Fair
Thank you for all your help, support and donations – we raised around £760 which will go back into school funds for the benefit of all children. We would like to say a big thank you to Juniper Hair, Morrisons and Oriental City for their kind donations.

South African Visitors
This week we have three visiting teachers from our partner school in Pretoria, South Africa. They have been taking part in lots of activities and team teaching in school.

Ofsted Report
Our school Ofsted Report is now official. We got an overall good with some outstanding features. Thank you to all the parents and children who replied to the questionnaires – well done to everyone.

fones4schools
We are starting our second campaign to collect old unwanted mobile phones for recycling. Your child will have received a prize pack and we will be collecting the phones after Christmas.

Christingle
We will be attending St. Martin’s church next week for our annual Christingle service. The classes going on Monday 14 December at 10.15am are: RP, 1B, 2B, 3L, 4S, 5F and 6C.
On Tuesday morning it will be: RM, 1P, 2G, 3D, 4P, 5S and 6G.
The choir, recorder group and narrators will be attending on both days.
If any parents would like to join us for the service we will be leaving school at 10am.

Reception Christmas Production
This year’s Reception Christmas Performance is on Wednesday 16 December at 2pm.
Tickets are limited to two tickets per family. Young children are allowed but will count as one of your places – we can only hold 100 people in the hall – this is a health and safety issue.

Brass
Those pupils who have brass lessons, and the brass teacher from the Music Service, will be performing at Tuesday’s assembly.

Worship Questionnaire
We are having a Religious Inspection next week. Your child will be receiving a Worship Questionnaire – could these please be returned to school by Monday. Thank you.

School Meals
We will be implementing the new school meals arrangements after Christmas. If anyone has any problems, please contact Mrs McGovern directly as she is overseeing the new arrangements.

The menus have changed slightly for the winter months – there is a copy of the menus on the school portal – you can find them in the newsletter folder. They are on a three-weekly basis – next week will be ‘Week 1’.
