Thank you to everyone involved in the Christmas Show on Wednesday 2 December. Pupils put on a fantastic show for family and friends. Well done.

Congratulations to Emma Holroyd, Heather Rothera, Charlotte Penrose and Ashley Thornton who took part in the KS4 badminton tournament and won and well done to Natalie Dean who won two Gold medals at the Karate Championships in Italy.

We are delighted to find out that Caitlin Lomax has been selected as a Regional Winner in the 'Doodle 4 Google - My Hero' competition. Google were extremely impressed with Caitlin's doodle. Over 50,000 doodles were entered, so getting to this stage is a fantastic achievement.

Caitlin is one of 48 Regional Winners. These doodles, including Caitlin's, will be voted for by the general public to choose the National Winners. The vote goes live on www.google.co.uk/doodle4google this week, and will close on Sunday 13 December, so show your support and vote for Caitlin's doodle.

There is one week left for ex GCSE Art, Textiles and Graphic pupils to collect their work. Please ring reception and arrange a collection time. Please stick to this time as any work not collected by 18 December will be thrown away.
