Date published: 07 December 2009
Greater Manchester firefighters are urging motorists to take extra care during the winter months following a smash involving two cars on Drake Street.
Fire fighters attended the scene on Saturday evening (5 December), one of seven road traffic collisions they were called out to in the region over the weekend.
Crews rescued people from the two vehicles and used a range of specialist equipment and skills, including hydraulic cutting rescue equipment, spine boards and first aid treatment.
