Falinge Park High School

We were delighted to hear that eight of our students were chosen as finalists in the Greater Manchester Student Awards (Drama Section) and they were invited to a presentation at The Lowry on the evening of Monday 30 November. It was a very prestigious evening and it was enjoyed by all. Well done to Aminoor Ali, Farhan Ali Khan, Tazmina Khatun, Katie Snape, Daniel Brown, James Goodwin, Rahina Begum and Shannon Wilkinson.

The girls Dance Group is still being held at Wardleworth Community Centre every Tuesday from 6.30pm until 7.30pm. All girls are very welcome to attend so please come and try it out.

Well done to all the pupils who came with us to watch Oliver Twist at The Bolton Octagon. It was a fabulous event and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Please remember that Panto rehearsals are going on at the moment and will be held every night after school and on Saturday 5 December and Saturday 12 December from 10.00am until 2.30pm so don’t forget to bring your lunch.

Tickets for the Panto are available from the CEPA office, price £3.00. The performances are on Tuesday 15 December and Wednesday 16 December from 7.00pm. Please come and support us.

Year 7 parents evening is on Tuesday 8 December from 3.15pm until 6.15pm.

Please note that the next PTFA meeting is Wednesday 13 January 2010 at 6.15pm in the school library.
