St. Clements Church, Spotland

Sunday 29 November Advent Sunday: 10.30am Eucharist, service of “Light & Hope”. During the service our Sunday School “Clemmie’s Club” meets in the hall and all children are welcome.

Our weekday services are: Said Holy Communion at 7.30pm on Tuesday 1 December and 9.30am Thursday 3 December.

Advent Prayer Group - Meetings will be held each Wednesday leading up to Christmas, exploring different ways of praying on an Advent theme; through music, the Scriptures, pictures and silent meditation. For further information please contact David, one of our Readers.

Our Christmas Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday 5 December from 10am until Noon. Admission is £1 inc. Coffee and mince pie. There will be Bring and Buy, Cake and Adult Care stalls, Hamper Raffle, Prize Raffle and “Name the Teddy”.

The MondayNighters meet on Monday 7 December when the Speaker will be Olwyn Clarke on “Downsizing”, this is an open meeting and all are welcome.

Sunday 6 December - At our 10.30am Eucharist we celebrate the Feast of St. Nicholas and will be holding a retiring collection for the “Make a Wish Foundation”.

Our Christingle Service is Sunday 13 December at 3pm and the Carol Service Sunday 20 December at 3pm.
