Robinwood Residential Trip 25 children from key stage 2 together with teachers and support staff returned from the new ‘ Dobroyd Castle’ Robinwood Activity Centre after their three day residential activity holiday. They had a wonderful time taking part in many exciting activities that it would not be possible to pursue at school. Many thanks to the four members of staff who accompanied the children.
Sacramental Programme
There will be a mass on Saturday 14 November at 5:30pm in St John’s Church. All children who are involved in the sacramental programme are expected to attend.
Anti bullying week Next week is anti-bullying week with a special focus on anti-cyber bullying which is now a very big problem with the increasing use of social networking sites and text messaging. A group of our children will be going to the Town Hall on Thursday to sing and take part in the Children’s Society anti-bullying week event.
United Nations declaration on the rights of the child This Friday marks the 20th Anniversary of this event. We will be marking the occasion throughout the week in school with activities relating to Responsibilities, Respect and Human rights in various contexts.
