Man charged over robbery on elderly woman

A man has been charged in connection with a robbery where an elderly woman's teeth were knocked out in Rochdale.
James Cooper (born 24/09/1961) of no fixed address was charged with robbery and appeared at Rochdale Magistrates' Court on Friday 30 October 2009.
Between 3.20pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday 28 October 2009, a 74-year-old woman was pushed over on Drake Street, Rochdale.
Her handbag was stolen and her two front teeth were knocked out in the fall.
A car was seen moments before the robbery and officers are appealing for anyone with information about it to contact police on 0161 856 8632 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
