Many thanks to all Year 7 pupils and their parents, who attended the Year 7 Pastoral Evening on Thursday. This was the first formal opportunity for parents to discuss Attitude to Learning grades in all subject areas with form teachers. It was a very enjoyable evening with lots of positive feedback from parents.
Sixth Form Open Evening for prospective students and their parents takes place on Wednesday 18 November at 6.30pm. Please come along and join us, meet the teaching staff and take the opportunity to have a look at the types of courses we offer.
Two members of the Gideons Society presented an assembly to our Year 7 learners on Friday, to explain the work carried out by this charitable organisation. Every Year 7 pupil was given a copy of the New Testament for their own personal use. They will also be used in RE lessons for a unit about The Bible.
The winners of the Year 7 termly smart card draw were: Jack Lambert (7.5) Katie Fitzgerald (7.10) and Marta Dolchuk (7.10)
219 Year 7 learners’ names went into The Stars in Your Form draw. The winners were: Emma Walsh (7.5) and Caroline Lupaka (7.4). Congratulations to all our winners.
Our partnership learning Centre is available for any Parish Groups who wish to use our facilities to produce resources for church. Please speak to Louise Moore for details (01706 647761).
