Heywood residents, have your say

Date published: 09 November 2009

There’s a chance for Heywood residents to have their say tonight, and ask questions about the work of the council and police.

Heywood’s township committee takes place today (9 November) at The Phoenix Centre on Pine Street in the town at 6.15pm.

The meeting will start with an open forum where residents can raise local issues and ask questions of councillors and council officers – as well as a representative of Greater Manchester Police.

This month’s issues cover everything from planning strategy and housing to plans to build new primary schools and the council’s finances and charges for services from April 2010.

Copies of agendas are available from Heywood Library and the council’s customer service centre in the Phoenix Centre, and also online.

For further details on the agenda items please contact the township office on 01706 924784.
