Rochdale and Pennines township: have your say
Date published: 09 November 2009
There’s a chance for residents in the Rochdale and Pennines township areas to have their say this week. The public will be able to ask questions about the work of the council and police.
The Pennines area township committee takes place on Tuesday 10 November at St James Church of England Primary School in Wardle. Rochdale’s meeting is on Wednesday 11 November at the Town Hall. Both meetings start at 6.15pm.
The meetings will both start with an open forum where residents can raise local issues and ask questions of councillors and council officers.
This month’s issues cover everything from parking, waste collections and housing to regeneration, plans to build new primary schools and the council’s finances and charges for services from April 2010.
Copies of agendas can be collected from the council’s libraries and customer service centres, and are available on online.
To speak to someone about asking questions or for further details on the agenda items please contact the township office on 01706 922114 (Pennines) or 01706 924857 (Rochdale).
