Date published: 09 November 2009

The Sung Holy Communion will be held on Sunday 15 November at 10.30am. During the service our Sunday School “Clemmie’s Club” meets in the hall and all children are welcome.

Evening prayer on Tuesday 17 November at 7.30pm, and Said Holy Communion on Thursday 19 November 9.30am.

On Sunday 22 November at our 10.30am Eucharist we celebrate our Patron Saint, St Clement. He was Bishop of Rome late in the first century and was executed for his faith by being tied to an anchor and thrown into the sea. On this day we also celebrate our annual Gift Day when we try to give extra monies for the care, work and worship of our parish. This year the monies are going towards a new carpet in the hall and decoration of the church.

Meetings will be held each Wednesday leading up to Christmas, starting on Wednesday 25th November, exploring different ways of praying on an Advent theme; through music, the Scriptures, pictures and silent meditation. For further information please contact David, one of our Readers.

The Christmas Coffee morning will be held on Saturday 5 December.

The next meeting of the Monday Nighters is on Monday 7 December when the Speaker will be Olwyn Clarke on “Downsizing”, this is an open meeting and all are welcome to attend.
