Armed robbery at off licence in Heywood

Detectives in Rochdale are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at an off licence in Heywood on Friday (23 February) night.
At about 9.35pm three men ran into The Local on Manchester Road, armed with weapons including a hammer and a knife.
The men threatened the woman cashier and held her down on the floor before escaping with a quantity of money.
Another cashier was also threatened during the incident but no one was physically injured.
The men were all wearing dark clothing and balaclavas. Two of the men are described as slim, one 5ft 8in to 5ft10in, and the other 5ft 8in to 5ft 9in. The third man is described as stocky and 5ft 5in.
