BBC chef drives interest in new models at Williams BMW

Date published: 22 October 2009

BBC fusion chef Aazam Ahmad joined staff and guests at Williams BMW Rochdale for a champagne reception evening to preview the brand new BMW X1 and the BMW 5 series Gran Turismo at the Gorrels Way showroom.

Guests were given access to the cars while also being entertained by chef Aazam, who cooked an assortment of tasty delights.

Guests at the Rochdale showroom were among the first in the country to preview the vehicles, with other BMW showrooms not previewing their models until later in the week.

Springhill Hospice will benefit to the tune of £410 following a charity raffle on the night. Prizes included a signed chef jacket and cookware from Aazam, who also signed copies of a specially made recipe book.

Alex Dunning, Dealer Principal at Williams BMW, said: “Williams BMW prides itself on exclusivity and sophistication and I think we have shown that tonight. Our guests have enjoyed themselves and Aazam kept us all entertained with his wonderful cooking skills.

"We are also delighted to be presenting Springhill Hospice with a donation of £410 which will go towards treating patients with life limiting illnesses.”
