Drunk steals £3 from heart attack victim
Date published: 21 October 2009
An alcoholic stole £3 from a heart attack victim, claiming that he didn't need the money because "he's dead".
A judge called the robbery, which took place in Rochdale, the worst he had seen, as he sentenced Peter Watson to 16 months in prison.
Watson rifled through father of one Peter Lisowycz's pockets as he lay dying and told a passer-by who had stopped to assist the victim: "He doesn't need it, he's dead."
