Healey Primary School
Next week is Arts Week for the whole school. The children will be very busy taking part in lots of different activities, art, music, drama and dance. If you would like to have a look at what is going on with your child, please phone school to arrange the best time. We will be welcoming pupils and staff from Wardle High School and the Music Service to help celebrate the arts. A letter should have arrived home by Friday with specific details about trips to the Art Gallery in Rochdale.
Music Tuition bills must be settled by Monday 12 October. we cannot finalise music timetables until contracts have been settled. Please note, all extra music places are now taken. If your child wants to learn to play an instrument we will put their name on a waiting list.
In addition to Arts Week, on Monday Year 3 will be having Road Safety awareness lessons and Year 5 will be taking part on Wednesday.
Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday.
Reception: Travis Taylor-Hall

We had another 100% Attendance with Year 5, well done to all these children. We have managed at least one class per week with full attendance since the beginning of term.
To end the Arts Week, Friday is non–uniform day. The PTA have asked if children could come in their own clothes and bring chocolate for the tombola at the Halloween Disco. Please note tickets for the Halloween Disco are now SOLD OUT.
