Beech House School

The Nursery and Reception children had a wonderful time when they visited the Rochdale fire station museum. The children have had an opportunity to find out about what the fire service do, try on uniforms and learn about the vehicles.

The new starters disco was a great success with around 50 pupils attending this event from Years 3-8. Thanks to all the parent and staff volunteers and to Friends of Beech House for paying for this event.

The Scholastic Book Fair was a great success again this year with over £700 raised. All classes have been able to choose new story books for their classrooms.

The School has its Open Days this week. The Senior and Upper Prep Department is on Monday 12 October at the Manchester Road site between 7.00 and 9.00 pm.

The Lower Prep and Nursery Open Days are on Tuesday 13 October between 9.00 and 11.45am and on Thursday 15 October between 1.00 and 3.00pm.

Parents are reminded that Holiday Club letters need to be returned to school this week.
