Work begins on Croft Street housing development

Building work has begun on 22 new homes on Croft Street in Smallbridge.
The work is being undertaken by local firm Richardson Projects after they were chosen as the developer by Rochdale Boroughwide Housing's subsidiary new-build group Brighter Horizons.
The £2.1 million scheme will deliver 18 bungalows and four family homes.
The new 'affordable' homes are the first new council housing builds for 30 years.
