Average house price in August is £96,499

The August data from Land Registry shows a monthly house price fall of 3.4% in Rochdale.
The annual drop of 19.9% is much higher than the price fall for houses across the country and takes the average house price in Rochdale to £96,499, compared with the UK average of £155,968.
The North West was also the region with the most significant annual price fall with a movement of -12.7%.
