Thank you to everyone who attended Pennine Proms last Friday night. It was a super evening and the combined Band of 129 pupils sounded great.
Congratulations to Zach Tait, Lucy Hagreen and Oliver Kay who were shortlisted for interview for Rochdale’s Children Champion last Saturday. Zach and Lucy have been selected for the next stage of the election process – Good luck to you both.
Thank you to parents and friends who attended the Fosja meeting on Monday. This years officers are: Chairman – Mrs T Charlson, Vice-Chairman Mrs D Brand, Secretary Mrs L Hildrew, Treasurer Mrs M Dearnley. The main focus of the meeting was to plan for the Christmas Fair – Any offers of help will be gratefully received.
Clubs started this week. Most clubs are full and many were oversubscribed. Thankyou to everyone who participates in these varied activities.
Parents of children who have instrumental lessons please return the contract and music fees as soon as possible.
Children going to Robinwood have had their medical information sheets this week. These should be returned to school as soon as possible.
Y6 begin their swimming lessons on Friday. Please remember swimming kits each week.
Next Wednesday (30 September) is individual photograph day.
Curry and Quiz Night. Tickets £7.50 including curry (or potato pie) are still available from school. Quiz starts 8pm – licensed bar.
