Certificates for Good Behaviour went to: Sean Caffrey (1), Bradley Burke in Class 2, Abbey-Anne Silver (3), Natasha Potter (4), Connor Hallisey & James Hurst (5), Charleigh Whiteman (6), well done.

Years 3 & 6 attended the Peace Parade in Rochdale on Monday morning. The parade was held to encourage peace and bring communities together as part of UN Peace Day.

Year 6 went on two more trips this week to Harehill Park on Wednesday and to a session with the Crucial Crew in Bury on Thursday. The Crucial Crew session was an opportunity to learn about personal health & safety by helping the children to develop their decision making skills and build their confidence. They were given various scenarios to watch as examples. The class really enjoyed both visits and found them very interesting.

The Harvest festival assembly in church on Tuesday was enjoyed by the whole school plus lots of parents who were able to come. It was a lovely assembly with plenty of donations of tins, packets of food etc, and was followed by a coffee morning in school which was to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Thank you to all who came and helped us to raise money for a very good cause.
