Milnrow club robbed at gunpoint

Staff at Milnrow Conservative Club were threatened at gunpoint during an armed robbery in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday 21 September).

Shortly after midnight a man armed with a handgun entered the club and pointed it at staff, demanding cash.

A number of people who were inside the club were tied up before the man made off with a sum of money.

He made his escape in a silver Ford Mondeo, which was found abandoned on Carr Grove in Milnrow.

The man is described as over 6ft tall, of slim build and dressed in dark clothing.
