Make a stand for mental health

Rochdale and District Mind will be holding a sponsored walk around Rochdale town Centre on 9 October to raise awareness of mental health as part of this year’s World Mental Health event.
The event aims to help raise awareness of Mental Health in the local community and build better links and support with partner organisations.
Dušanka Rushton, Activities and Social Enterprise Adviser at Rochdale and District MIND, said: "We look forward to seeing everyone on the day which will be fun for all, please share this event with your family and friends and invite them along to join in."
The group is looking for volunteers who can help make sure the day of entertainment and fun runs smoothly for everyone taking part.

Among the volunteer tasks, the group needs volunteers to help set up display stands and gazebos, marshals to guide and walk with participants, location marker distribution, display stand support and general guides and information support.
