Tender out for new fire station

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that it is tendering for a contractor to build the new Rochdale fire station.
The authority is finalising deals for the land where the new station will be built, although the location has yet to be confirmed.
Work on the new £2.5 million station is expected to begin in spring next year and will last for 12 months.
