Machete brawl puts seven in hospital

A brawl involving several weapons, including a machete, has left seven men in hospital with serious injuries.
A group of men started fighting on Raleigh Gardens in Littleborough on Friday night (11 September) at around 11.30pm.
Police found a number of the men brandishing weapons, including one who was wielding a machete.
Three men aged 19, 42 and 47-years-old were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and have been bailed until 11 November pending further enquiries.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and she has also been bailed until 11 November pending further enquiries.
The men in hospital are thought to be in a critical condition.
