Rochdale Rotary Club third annual Arts and Crafts Fair took place in the Great Hall, Rochdale Town Hall today, Sunday 13 September.

There were 32 stalls ranging from jewellery, accessories, paintings and wood carvings.

Rochdale Youth Orchestra provided musical entertainment.

President of Rochdale Rotary Club Elvet Smith said: "This is our third annual art and craft fair and the idea is to try and raise money for two charities, the Petrus Community and the local Samaritans.

"The Mayor very kindly organised for us to have the use of the Town Hall without charge as part of the heritage open weekend."

Mayor Keith Swift said: "I think Rochdale Rotary do a fantastic job and this art and craft fair shows how well organised they are. I am sure they will raise plenty of money for their chosen charities."
