£1.5 million schools contract for Desk Centre

Desk Centre Ltd, based in Birkenhead, has won a contract to supply furniture to Rochdale's education department.
The £1.5 million contract includes six other boroughs from across Greater Manchester.
The company will supply desks, chairs and storage cupboards to local schools.
