Give your views on access to local heath service
Date published: 04 September 2009
Patients and carers across Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale are being asked for their views on accessing the District Nurse Liaison Service.
The service receives a significant amount of calls a day from patients and carers across the borough requiring support and care from District Nurses.
Jackie Taylor, Operational Manager for Adult Nursing at NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Community Healthcare, said: "As demand for the service continues to increase we want to hear your views about accessing the service and ideas on how it can be improved.
“We want our service to be accessed as easily as possible, so who better to tell us than the patients and carers who use it themselves?
“Have you ever had to call the District Nurse Liaison Service? Was it helpful? Did you get the information you need? Did you have to wait long? These are just some of the areas we want to hear from you about.”
Three drop in sessions have been arranged so people can call in to give their views:
Tuesday 8 September
St Andrew’s Church (function rooms)
Smith Street, Rochdale.
Wednesday 16 September
Heywood Civic Hall
Church Street, Heywood.
Wednesday 23 September
