Online help for lung patients
Date published: 02 September 2009
The British Lung Foundation has set up new online support for people with a lung condition.
One in seven people have a respiratory condition, and the charity is offering them the chance to get involved in discussion forums by following the links on its website, www.lunguk.org.
Open to all, they allow people to discuss not only specific lung and respiratory conditions, but also to explore issues such as pulmonary rehabilitation, Breathe Easy support groups, medication, benefits and assistance.
