A Smallbridge woman has won through to the final of radio competition and has the chance to get rid of her banged up car and exchange it for a brand new one.
Sarah Cryer, 20, is one of ten finalists in with a chance of winning a Peugeot 107 as part of Real Radio's 'Bin The Banga' competition. And now she needs your votes to help her win her dream car.
Sarah entered the competition with her deathtrap white Fiesta car, which she calls 'Westa', in a bid to exchange it for a newer model.
After numerous bumps and scrapes 'Westa' is looking a bit worse for wear. The vehicle has the battle scars to prove its time to go to the car park in the sky. Sarah said: " My latest disaster was on the way home from work when the brakes failed and I nearly went into the back of the person in front of me, this is one reason why I need a new car because Westa is trying to kill me!
"Where I work there are loads of speed bumps and every time I go over one the cage for the missing spare tyre falls down and I have to jump out and put it back up, everyone I work with is always moaning at me because I hold them up and make them late.
"The other week I thought poor Westa’a life had come to a untimely end when he just died on me when I was about ten minutes from home. I had to get out and push and no one would help me, so you can imagine how long it took me to get home."
To vote for Sarah to have her car scrapped and get a brand new set of wheels text 'TWO' to 63344. Anyone who enters will have the chance to enter a prize draw with a chance of winning £100,000. Voting closes on Thursday 27 August at 5pm.
