Rochdale Town Centre Blooming
Date published: 15 August 2009
Rochdale Town Centre is looking ‘blooming’ magnificent with the flower beds benefitting from the mix of sun and rain in July and August. Hanging baskets, troughs and planters are also looking great.
Prompted by compliments on the Rochdale Online message board we sent one of our photographers down town to photograph the splendour.
Michael Jones said: “I love the flower beds and the hanging baskets in the town centre, and if anyone hasn't seen the display in the courtyard at the back of the old post office, go and see it, you will be amazed”,
Kenneth Hall likes the flowers in front of the Town Hall, he said: “Nice display of flowers at the roundabout near the town hall. Credit to the gardeners”.
John Heyworth added: “A great display next to Touchstones showing a floral mural supporting the Hospice. A job well done and credit to the gardeners.”
