Re-tune for digital TV

As switchover approaches if you're watching digital television through an aerial and a set top box you'll need to re-tune on 4 November 2009 - when the Granada region switches - and again on 2 December 2009 when the process is complete.

You can re-tune now to ensure you are ready for switchover. With so many new channels coming about, it's a good idea to re-tune regularly to be certain you don't miss out on new services. Find out what you need to do by downloading the guide to re-tuning or call the help line on 08456 50 50 50.

Digital UK are planning visits to all parts of the region to ensure everybody is ready for switchover from 4 November 2009. The roadshow trailer will be visiting Rochdale Town Centre at The Butts, South Parade, Rochdale on 15 October 2009 with help and advice on all aspects of switchover as well as the various ways to convert your particular TV to digital.

If you're looking for a new aerial look for 'Registered Digital Installers' (RDIs) displaying the 'digital tick' logo. This means they are approved and security-checked with the relevant qualifications and insurance.
