Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale NHS has announced that due to the reduction of antivirals being collected in the borough and the insufficient demand in certain areas, the opening hours of the antiviral collection points (ACPs) have been reduced.
From Thursday 13 August 2009, there will be no collection point at Durnford Clinic in Middleton.
From Monday 17 August 2009 the collection point at Nye Bevan House in Rochdale will be open:
Monday to Friday
10.00am - 1.00pm
3.00pm - 7.00pm
Sat and Bank Holiday Monday
10.00am - 2.00pm
The collection point will not be open on Sundays at Nye Bevan House from now on.
A spoekswoamn said: "The demand is highest at Nye Bevan House so this collection point remains open. We regularly review this situation and should the demand increase in other areas sufficiently we will open them as necessary."
