Middleton man charged with robbery

A man has been charged in connection with six robbery offences where cars were targeted.

Arran Crossan (born 15/12/1990) of Boarshaw Clough Way, Middleton, has been charged with attempted robbery and conspiracy to rob.

He is due to appear before Bolton Crown Court on 17 November 2009.

The charges are in connection with the attempted robbery of a taxi on Friday 7 August 2009, on Old Hall Street in Middleton, along with four offences between June 2008 and June 2009, where high-powered cars were targeted, and violence was used.
