'Storm' of anger at poor rail replacement performance
Date published: 08 August 2009

Castleton Railway Station
Rail users have hit out at the poor performance of the rail replacement buses that have running from Rochdale to Manchester and Todmorden over the past three Sundays.
At a meeting of STORM, the local rail support group, a lot of anger was expressed and Chairman Richard Greenwood has been asked to write a letter of complaint.
The current poor “state of affairs” does not auger well for the potential “chaos” in October that STORM believes will result from the closure of the Oldham loop line.
