Baby Aisha at Castlemere Sure Start Children’s Centre
A call is out to parents in the Castlemere area to join in the fun with Baby Time at Castlemere Sure Start Children’s Centre. The session, aimed at the under one year olds, runs every Monday from 11am till noon and offers a "precious hour" of just parent and baby.
There are a range of activities each week including body strokes and moves to help with bonding and relationship, singing to improve speech and language development and plenty of fun in a caring and safe environment. It is an opportunity to spend a "special" hour just without the distractions of home life and the daily routine.
Activities are run by Early Years Worker, Laura Marland-Lord who said: “I enjoy running the session to support parents with their children and show how much fun we can having playing with our children. This sets the standard for a child’s learning and development from an early age.”
Mum, Jenny already attends the session. She said: “I like the toys and singing; we meet new people and we enjoy time out of the house - it’s like a day out!”
Castlemere Sure Start Children’s Centre offer a full time table of events for families with children aged 0 – 5 throughout the week.
