Burning paper pushed through letterbox

Police are investigating after a newspaper was set alight and pushed through a woman’s letterbox.
A 41-year-old woman was inside the house on Maud Street, when the burning page landed in her hallway between 10.30pm on Tuesday (21 July) and 8am on Wednesday (22 July).
The front of the house was damaged, but the fire did not spread.
There is no description of the offenders.
Detective Constable Ben Harris said: "This incident is being treated as a clear attempt to put someone's life in danger.
"As part of our thorough investigation, we would like to ask anyone who may have seen suspicious looking people approach the house, or running away, to get in touch."
