Impact Partnership has confirmed it will be making 30 members of staff redundant.
The news follows an announcement earlier this year that 300 jobs were being created at the new contact centre on Buckley Road, though a spokesperson confirmed that all jobs in the new centre are safe.
Impact works in partnership with Rochdale Borough Council provides Property, Highways, ICT and Business Services.
The affected staff are based in the Property and Highways and Engineering Services.
The proposals are a result of the drive for “service improvements” and the wider council efficiency programme.
Annette Hockey, Regional HR Business Partner said: “The partnership will seek volunteers from the groups of staff affected in order to minimise the requirement for compulsory redundancies.
“We will work with staff to seek redeployment and support our staff during this difficult time.”
