Curry night to spice up charity appeal
Date published: 20 July 2009
Children's charity MedEquip4Kids is hosting a curry night next Monday (27 July).
The event, at Raj Restaurant on Edenfield Road, starts at 7pm, and will raise money for the charity and for Rochdale Infirmary.
MedEquip4Kids raises money to provide medical equipment for neo-natal units and children’s wards at hospitals across the North West and has raised almost £30,000 for Rochdale Infirmary over the last five years.
Rochdale paramedic Gary Eaton has been supporting the charity for 12 months and is preparing to cycle from London to Paris in September. The money raised by the curry night will support Mr Eaton's 300-mile charity challenge.
For £20, guests will be treated to a five course meal and enjoy a night of entertainment and a raffle. For tickets visit www.medequip4kids.org.uk or call MedEquip4Kids on 0161 798 1600.
